Hi, I like your pumpkins and the idea of the tablerunner!
ReplyDeleteI just love teh picture of the bright leaves! My favorite memory is of when I was a child we had a yard that had a road next to it that was about 2 feet higher than our yard. there was a row of trees right next to the drop off. I would lay under the trees where teh leaves had piled so very high. Every time a car would drive by it would carry a few more leaves that would drop on me (And also more came down from the trees).
ReplyDeleteLove your pumpkins! Ah Fall. Love the leaves turning, but that means they will soon fall and need to be raked up! Thank you for the great giveaway. I do not have a Blog.

Oh, my memory of Fall really centered around the talk of the leaves. My husband was a Highway Foreman for a town close to us and then had to pick up all the leaves every day for two months. It was a dirty dusty job. He and his crew hated leaves, so there was never talk of how pretty they were. But now, we laugh about it and love to see them come. Oh, also the smell of the apple pies baking. I was always baking

I too love fall colors. One good memory - my then 3 year old son had just started to wear glasses. He ran in the house and told me he lost them in the pile of leaves they were playing in. So outside we go, the kids had raked a huge pile of leaves about a foot deep and 8-10 feet square. I asked him where he'd been standing, went to that spot, and on my very first sweep with my hands found his glasses.
