I see the light..

After the achey back and double seeing eyes.. I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I haven't done a sew sew session in such a long time.. 2 days of constantly sewing & I see quilting in my near future as well.. but here it is.. The quilt is from "Miss Rosie's Spice of Life Quilts" I love this book..  I plan sometime someday to do all the quilts in the book..

The colors are much brighter than my phone camera (yes it still works after the fall) shows... So.. without farther a due...

Enjoy~ And happy Stitches~

I'll be back sewing soon

.. I know I haven't posted in awhile..   After being in the ER twice last week once by ambulance..  I found out I have BPPV.. Vertigo.. (Its crystals in the inner ear that detach and reek havoc on the head.. lost balance- feeling of the room spinning.. vomiting)  In the end, I would rather have a root canal with out meds...  and its amazing when you are diagnosed with something like vertigo how many people pop up whom have had it as well..

Its not funny but its funny. One thing I've learned about life is this.. a positive attitude is everything. I can look back now and laugh about certain situations. Like when you call 911 make sure your completely dressed. 'Nough said. When I started blogging I really wonder who would be interested in what I do...

On the quilting front, I have 2 quilts to quilt. One for Mary (an old foundation house co-worker I haven't seen in a few years) and One for Ms. F (my high school art teacher -I've been out of HS for 11 yrs) I have to get started working on them.. I can't wait and as soon as I can I'll get pictures posted. :)

I'm on the mend- the vertigo, BPPV- is almost gone.. I hope to get started quilting again.. I still plan on doing a giveaway.. so follow me and comment on what I can do different.

Day 29 ...

I'm doing a count down for this month.. Today, is day 29 of the 'Drop and Give Me Challenge '   I did it.. Sewed for 30+ minutes this afternoon. I worked on the horse quilt. Its a total stash buster- 5 yards of fabrics.

I love this pattern. I still have boarders to put on it but, my rows are put together. I am so cheating and using this quilt as my February project too.. Mostly because I have  NO IDEA what do for the month of February..

I have a great idea to share tho.. When you receive those fragrance gift boxes for Christmas or birthdays (or maybe you bought one for yourself at goodwill time..) Save the boxes (or mail them to me) and use them for your next project. They work great as a keeper of all those quilt top pieces. I use them ALOT when I go on quilt retreats or when I'm doing multiple projects at one time..

So yay! Tomorrow I get to start on something new.. after I figure out the borders on the horse quilt.. That shouldn't take long tho..
