YAY!!
So.. I got the box..
Here's what was in the overflowing box
Love the neutrals.. :)
And the bold prints.. Going to use the jelly roll with this years Minnesota fabrics..
I took a 2nd look later.. This is what else I took out..
I love this.. I laughed out loud when I saw this..
Here's what I added:
I added 3 spools of my favorite thread.. a pin cushion pattern, a heart bookmark I made, a button I got in Fergus falls, midnight garden 10 inch bundle & a hand dyed fat quarter.
I pulled fabrics from my stash.. Sister C says's I have a fabric store in our basement.. :) This very well could be true..
I added more of my favorite things.. Ric Rac & needles universal needles. 6 fat quarters of connecting threads fabric, 2 cute little Santa clips and a tea towel..
Finally, I added a yard of neutral connecting threads fabric, some 'quilty print' out of my sewing themed stash, 5" batik squares, a fat quarter of a hand dyed fabric, 5 patterns from Quilt Doodle Designs and a little pad of paper with pen.
Gizmo has been waiting for me to finish packing the box.. It's sealed and waiting to be mailed out..
The box is PACKED full.. :)

ReplyDeleteI guess I should read the requirements before I comment, huh? Oh well. Consider my first post as my 'I follow you' entry. This will be my 'I posted the giveaway on my blog' entry. :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the piecing the quilt. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite technique - a scrap quilter at heart - give me a bag or box of your left overs and I am doing the happy dance.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite technique is hand quilting. I love that it is the "home stretch" of making a quilt, and I find it so relaxing and exciting at the same time.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite technique would be a toss up between hand piecing and hand quilting. However, I am getting more comfortable with short arm machine quilting.
ReplyDeleteI love handsewing the binding down. So relaxing!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower of your blog:)
ReplyDeleteI have to say I like the look of topstitching :)
ReplyDeleteI follow you now!
ReplyDeleteSo is this a giveaway or entering to recive the box next to be shipped on to some one else?
ReplyDeleteYes Abbigail! Gizmo & Rosie are waiting to ship the box :)

ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is hand applique.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure! In Russia, very few fabrics for quilt. What a pity that I can not accept some of this competition.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if I to late for this give-away, but found it interesting with the box of fabric, patterns, etc. that you got to go thru, my only problem would be I don't have a blog - but otherwise how did you get started in that exchange? I've bookmarked your blog, so will be following you. Thanks - from northern Iowa . . . .
ReplyDeleteThe traveling stash would be a ton of fun to win!
