Sew-In at Mom's

Normally, in August we go on another quilt retreat to Cozy Home .

But because life likes to toss little curve balls at us, Sister C, Mom and I decided to have a Sew-in at Mom & Dad's.

Which is ok. I think I may have gotten more done...

I worked on my dots on dots mug mat which is my giveaway for the blog hop, my dots on dots block for the blog hop.

I didn't want to give the block away but, I will show you what fabrics I used.

Unfortunately, I had these in my stash.. I think I got them from Keepsake Quilting many many years ago... 

Then I worked on the baby quilt for Brian's Boss.. He and his wife had a little girl a few weeks ago.. :)  I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

I was very happy when I found this precious moments baby panel. I hope they like it. :)

All in all its been a real sucessful 'sew-in'

I do not know if I could have gotten more done at Cozy Home or not. But, being with family is all that matters really. It doesn't matter where you go as long as there is family...
