Today, I'll be celebrating my sister's birthdays too..
Every year so far I've tried to make them something..
Last year it was
I made my Sister Gena a countdown to Christmas, a monthly thing :)
And for Stef I made this Merry Christmas wall hanging :)

We live in a small rural community, so the nearest town to 'shop' in is about 70 miles away, so shopping is an all-day adventure. Your Santa mug mat sounds delightful, and I would put it to good use if my name were drawn. Merry Christmas to you!

This is mostly thanks to our families scaling back the exchanges and fewer babies being born. :) It's great because we can relax and enjoy the season a lot more. Oh - and I just love Santa! And mugs...I even collect Santa mugs. :)

ReplyDeleteI really don't have mug mat. Of course, I could make one myself, BUT, I really want to win one for me - just for me only. No, I am not done shopping yet. I have to make somes salsa and put into jars and want to shop for my husband one more time. The Christmas tree is up and fully decorated and the rest of the presents for my family are wrapped and under the tree. I almost forgot, I need to buy some treats for my cat. ReplyDeleteThe wife and I caved in this year and decided to give the kid's money so they can put it toward something they want - one wants a deep freeze and the other baby furniture. We still probably will get them small presents for under the tree and to open when we have Christmas. The beginning of December, we got ourselves a new davenport. And of course always picking up quilting fabric, books and notions.
